The Swiss public exchange listed two new carbon-neutral cryptos ETPs and seeks to expose investors to the world’s two most valuable crypto assets while offsetting the carbon footprint as we can see more today in our latest cryptocurrency news.

The BTCO2 and ETH20 ETPs seek to expose the investors to the world’s two biggest valuable cryptocurrencies while offsetting the carbon footprint and they are a part of the crypto goes carbon neutral campaign led by Helvetq along with the Swiss fintech innovation lab at the Zurich University. The CEO Christian Katz said that it is vital to provide the carbon-neutral ETPs while adding:

“Awareness of the link between the environment and the blockchain economy is rising fast and we all must work together to find sustainable solutions. That’s why Helveteq sponsors and cooperates with the University of Zurich for research in this field, based on which we compensate the carbon footprint of our Zero ETP family.”

Most crypto ETPs were created since the world’s first crypto ETP that was launched on the Swiss SIX exchange in 2018 and the Amun Crypto Basket ETP tracks five major cryptocurrencies and was introduced in 2018 as the first ETP. SIX announced the BTCCetc Bitcoin ETP trading and allowing investors to gain exposure to bitcoin in a new way. The platform provides access to 240 crypto-based products and according to the announcement, the platform’s trading volume for the crypto products surged 674% in 2021.
